“Breakfast sweetie!”

He groaned, grimaced, swallowed thickly. She was at it again. All smiling and twisted. The bitch. What had he done to deserve this?

“Bacon, eggs, toast--”

“Where’s yours?” he asked inquisitively.

She paused, a little taken aback. He had her, caught her in the act. “I had some cereal earlier,” she said, an eyebrow raised.
